[in] elasticity evolved from an earlier series of suspended wire structures that, to some, resembled hammocks or boats in Connections I and II. Over time, without conscious intention, these forms transformed into more organic, ambiguous presences—part drawing, part structure, part living organism.

I manipulate industrial wire with precision tools to create geometric skeletons. These structures then undergo a process of Membrane Interlacing—a dialogue between industrial wire and organic or synthetic fibers—weaving textures into precise, tensioned shapes.

Constructed from tie wire and colored elastic cord, these modular pieces vary in size. They can function individually as wall-mounted pattern designs or collectively as part of a pre-designed wall grid. Rather than being individually framed, they attach directly to the wall via small nails.
